Food packaging works to a different specification from everything else here. The journey is usually short and by hand or local courier, so crush and drop resistance matter less — while grease resistance, food-grade board and keeping items from sliding matter a great deal more.

Anything with icing, glaze or a soft surface needs a cavity insert rather than a divider, because a divider still lets the product slide within its own compartment.
